As we near the end of both the Rosé and the Cabernet Franc we will be introducing the 2023 Maison Sanglier Pinot Noir to the menu, similarly to the 2022 this is a Vin de France. The Malbec has joined the tasting menu to replace the Cabernet Franc. We have also added the Kristi to the tasting menu which is always a fun way to highlight the stylistic differences of our Chardonnays!

As harvest is underway we wanted to add some extra fun to the mix! Whichever staff member is able to guess the closest to our final tonnage of fruit that we bring in this year will receive a prize from the production team! Submit your guesses by Friday, September 13th - no cheating or asking for hints from production!

Angela had the great idea of introducing the Wine Club Corner! In the weekly email we will include a few notes on a topic (mostly related to clubs). If there is a topic you all would like to learn more about or think would be interesting for the team please feel free to send us a note!

Although mail-order services for wine can be traced back to 1910 the wine club structure as it is used today was not established until 1972. Much like the Tower Cru Signature Club the first selections for the WOMC included a red wine & a white wine. At Stone Tower we are able to offer a myriad of selections for our members. Early pickups must be confirmed by completing the "Modify Club" form. This form can be found on the home screen of every iPad in the tasting room! The new section should be used in the event a wine club member is picking up their release wines prior to the club release date. When you open the form you will see an option named "Early Pick-up" once you click this option the form will ask for member name, member email address & phone number. You all will just need to complete one question which asks for info regarding modifications to the wine selections & pick up date! Please make sure all fields listed are completed, and match the information on file! If you swap any wines, please ensure that you provide detailed notes of the exchanges and specify vintage (i.e. "23 SB SS" vs "SB").

Yesterday the team completed harvest of the Albariño! They have also made their way through the Pinot Noir, have picked the Chardonnay that will be utilized for sparkling, as well as a bit of Cabernet Franc that will be used for sparkling! Today we anticipate picking the Merlot that will be used in the Rosé before making our way into the whites next week with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier!

James will provide a harvest update and Chef and his team will provide pizzas to be enjoyed. Please RSVP by Friday, September 13th.
